I offer an intensive format that consists of therapy spread across three to four consecutive days. This approach gives us the time and space to go deeper than a standard session ever could, exploring the history of your relationship, processing old wounds that haven’t fully healed, and learning new communication skills you can actually practice together in real time. Couples who have experienced this format often describe it as transformative.
Marathon Couples Therapy is conducted online via HIPAA-compliant telehealth, making it accessible no matter where you are. It’s a particularly good fit for couples who don’t live near a Certified Gottman Therapist, have schedules that make weekly sessions difficult, or simply need meaningful help right away.
Throughout the process, I provide a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment for both partners. I want you both to feel heard.

• Live in a remote area — You don’t have easy access to a Certified Gottman Therapist nearby, but you’re ready to do the work.
• Are in crisis or need help now — Something significant has happened in the relationship and waiting weeks for gradual progress isn’t an option.

• Approaching a major life transition — Whether it’s a new baby, career change, relocation, or another big shift, you want to enter the next chapter on solid ground.
• Have unresolved past wounds — There are injuries in the relationship — or from before it — that have never fully healed and continue to affect your connection.

What to expect:
Before we begin, you’ll each complete an in-depth questionnaire about your relationship. On the first day, we’ll work through a comprehensive Gottman assessment focusing on your relationship history, individual backgrounds, and a scientific evaluation using the Gottman Connect platform. This gives us a clear picture of where to focus our work together.
From there, we move into the treatment phase, where I provide targeted interventions to help your relationship move forward with renewed strength and connection.
After the Marathon sessions conclude, you have the option to continue follow-up sessions. These sessions are designed to help you continue applying what you’ve learned and make sure the progress you’ve made sticks.
