Gain tools to communicate more effectively
The number one reason couples seek out couples counseling is due to issues in communication. Many couples try to communicate through ineffective ways that lead to misunderstandings, escalation and conflict. I will help you turn down the volume so you can focus on the underlying meaning of what you want your partner to know or understand.
Learn how to prioritize your relationship
Do you feel like your relationship is at the end of your priority list? Couples can regain relationship empowerment and a sense of we-ness, where the relationship becomes the core in which all other things stem. Think of it as the mothership for all the space fans out there.
Regain fondness and admiration
Are you feeling respected, admired and well loved by your partner? This is a basis of friendship, which can often be overlooked when things go awry. Put the gratitude and appreciation back in the relationship.
Feel truly heard and understood
Many couples rush into problem solving their issues, and then wonder why they are in the same argument again and again. This is considered a gridlocked issue. We will ulilize tools that will help you feel heard, understood and validated.

06. Why online counseling?
When schedules, traffic, parking and childcare are barriers to you and your partner working on improving your relationship, online counseling can offer a stress-free alternative to in-person sessions.
07. Is it as effective as meeting in-person?
Yes! Online counseling is just as effective as meeting in-person. You are still receiving the same quality of care from me, but with the added convenience and scheduling flexibility.
Online counseling also offers the same privacy and confidentaility as meeting in-person. My video conferencing platform through SimplePractice is secure and HIPPA compliant.
08. Is online counseling right for us?
Not all couples and not all issues are best suited for online counseling. The first session will be an assessment if this will be the right fit for you. If I determine that you are not a good fit for me, I will NOT charge you for the first session and provide a referral for you with another therapist.
09. What do we need to get setup?
